We are Tony and Mark Brown , a father and son team who specialize in building top quality Beach Huts.
We have been working in the industry for about 15 years and have gained considerable experience in this time.
We offer a complete service to cover all aspects of beach hut ownership from new build to repairs due to wear and tear , storm damage or vandalism etc through to disposal of an old hut.
We can also offer an extra service to anybody who cannot visit their hut easily or regularly by holding extra keys and carrying out maintenance on locks and hinges etc and reporting condition and any damage that may occur.
Each new build hut is constructed in our workshop completely to ensure everything is ok and fit for purpose before installing on site.
Specification list for new build huts..
all timber used inside and out is pressure treated
all cut ends of timber are re treated
all fixings ie. nails,screws etc are marine grade stainless steel
door and canopy hinges are marine grade stainless
exterior cladding is 20mm thick tongue and groove
flooring is 20mm thick tongue and groove
roofing timber is 15mm thick tongue and groove
exterior roofing felt is non rip polyester reinforced
top canopy is upvc and full 6ft width
heavy duty lower deck is full 6ft width
heavy duty galvanised hasp and staples
paint used is Sadolin Superdec opaque
3 coats of paint are applied ( 1 stain blocker and 2 coats colour)
The hut is supported on heavy duty plastic adjustable
legs that help reduce damp rising into the floor joists.
The regular maintenance as mentioned above would consist of the following check list:
clean and lubricate as necessary
locks,hinges for doors , canopy , deck
hasp and staples
clean out sand from inside of canopy
clean sand from inside hut
check for signs of damp
check roofing felt
check all round for any damage etc
A report will be sent and anything that needs attention will be quoted for.
